SSC CHSL Syllabus 2024 : The SSC CHSL Notification 2024 has been published for 3712 vacancies. The window for online registration also has opened from 08 April 2024 and will remain active till 07 May 2024.The CHSL Exam shall be completed in 2 stage process i.e. Tier I & Tier II.
All the candidates should be aware of the SSC CHSL syllabus and exam pattern to perform better in SSC CHSL 2024 exam as announced by SSC. SSC CHSL Syllabus 2024 for Tier 1
- Tier I exam is a computer-based online test (CBT) exam conducted online.
- Tier-I paper comprising 100 questions that count to a total of 200 marks (2 marks each question) with total 60 minutes time.
- In the Tier-1 exam candidates will get a penalty of 1/2 marks for each wrong answer.

SSC CHSL Syllabus 2024 Skill Test
Skill tests are an important part of the selection process for various posts in the SSC CHSL examination. The details of the skill tests required for different positions are as follows:
Skill Test for the post of DEO/ DEO Grade ‘A’ in Department/ Ministry–
Candidates for the post of Data Entry Operator, must have a data entry speed of 8,000 Key Depressions per hour. The duration of the skill test is 15 minutes, during which candidates must type an English document containing about 2000-2200 strokes/key depressions.
Skill Test for DEO in the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG)–
The candidates who are applying for the DEO position in the Office of the C&AG should have a speed of 15,000 key depressions per hour. The duration of the skill test is 15 minutes, and candidates will be given a printed matter in English containing about 3700-4000 key-depressions to be entered in the test computer.
Skill Test for Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)–
Candidates who are applying for the positions of LDC/JSA and PA/SA, must achieve a speed of 10,500 key depressions per hour. The duration of the skill test is 15 minutes, and candidates will be provided with printed matter in English containing about 9000 key-depressions/hour to be entered in the test computer.
