RPF Constable Recruitment Selection Process 2024

RPF (Railway Protection Force) recruitment typically includes different stages to assess candidates for various positions, such as Constables and Sub-Inspectors.

Phase 1-Computer-Based Test (CBT) -It is the Preliminary examination checking proficiency in Arithmetic, General awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning.

Phase 2- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) – Qualified candidates from CBT undergo activities like running, high jump and long jump.

Document Verification – Candidates have to produce the necessary documents as and when required.

Medical Examination – After document verification the candidates have to undergo a medical examination as per the required standards.

Final Merit List – is prepared on the basis of performance in CBT, PET, PMT and document verification.

RPF Constable Recruitment Exam Pattern

The duration of exam is 90 minutes(1 hour 30 minutes).
There is a negative marking of 1/3rd mark for each wrong answer.
The questions will be Multiple Choice Questions(MCQ).
The difficulty level of the questions for the post of Constable will be of Class 10th level.
The difficulty level of the questions for the post of SI will be of Graduation level.
