RPF Constable Recruitment Selection Process 2024
RPF (Railway Protection Force) recruitment typically includes different stages to assess candidates for various positions, such as Constables and Sub-Inspectors.
Phase 1-Computer-Based Test (CBT) -It is the Preliminary examination checking proficiency in Arithmetic, General awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning.
Phase 2- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) – Qualified candidates from CBT undergo activities like running, high jump and long jump.
Document Verification – Candidates have to produce the necessary documents as and when required.
Medical Examination – After document verification the candidates have to undergo a medical examination as per the required standards.
Final Merit List – is prepared on the basis of performance in CBT, PET, PMT and document verification.
RPF Constable Recruitment Exam Pattern
- The duration of exam is 90 minutes(1 hour 30 minutes).
- There is a negative marking of 1/3rd mark for each wrong answer.
- The questions will be Multiple Choice Questions(MCQ).
- The difficulty level of the questions for the post of Constable will be of Class 10th level.
- The difficulty level of the questions for the post of SI will be of Graduation level.
