The CTET Admit Card 2024 will be available on ctet.nic.in. It can be downloaded using the registration number and password. The admit card will contain details like the candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, and timing. CTET is a national-level teacher eligibility test that will be conducted in July in 2 different shifts.

CTET Admit Card 2024 for July

The first shift will be conducted in the morning from 9:30 am to 12 pm, and 2nd shift will be conducted in the evening from 2:30 to 5 pm. The board will conduct the 19th edition of CTET on 07 July 2024 (Sunday). The test will be conducted in twenty languages in 136 cities nationwide.

CTET Exam Application Fee :

CTET Exam Selection Procedure :

The CTET examination consists of two papers: Paper I for candidates applying to teach classes I to V and Paper II for candidates wishing to teach classes VI to VIII. Candidates have the option to appear for either one of the papers or both. The selection procedure involves qualifying these papers with a minimum percentage as specified by the CBSE.

CTET Exam Primary Level (Class I to V) Eligibility :

  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed).
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII) Eligibility :

  • Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  • Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year Bachelor in Education (B. Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations.
  • At least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and passed or appearing in final year Bachelor in Education (B. Ed).
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B. Sc. /B. Ed or B. A./ B. Ed/B. Sc./ B. Ed.
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed).
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc./B. Ed or B.A. /B. Ed/B.Sc./B. Ed.
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year B.Ed. (Special Education).
  • Post-Graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in final year of three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.

  • There is no negative marking on wrong answers.
  • CTET Paper 1 exam will be MCQ(Multiple Choice Question).
